St Andrews Bendigo is a 4-star Green Star certified social housing development comprising approximately 80 apartments across multiple buildings. The project is designed to provide long-term affordability for residents by prioritising energy and water efficiency through sustainable design principles.

Blue Bee has been engaged for ESD consultancy from design through to construction, overseeing Green Star assessment and certification, daylight modelling, NatHERS energy rating assessments, planning permit documentation, and sustainable transport strategies.
A key challenge for this project is the conditional Green Star certification, which is required to secure project funding. This necessitates precise execution at every stage to ensure compliance and successful certification. Blue Bee’s expertise in Green Star reporting and coordination has been instrumental in managing this complexity and delivering a sustainable, cost-effective housing solution.
